The proposed project would provide for the widening and reconstruction of Whittlesey Road from Bradley Park Drive to US 27/SR l/Veteran's Parkway in Muscogee County, Georgia. The revised special studies request (dated 10/21/09) noted the following changes to the project, since it was originally surveyed by a consultant in 2000 and 2002: 1) right-of-way and easement were added to Parcels 8 and 49, which were previously designated as historic, 2) driveway easement on Parcel 15 was shifted to the eastern end of the parcel, 3) driveway easements were added to Parcels 2 and 3, and 4) the lane widths on US 27/SR l/Veteran's Parkway were reduced from 12 feet to 11 feet. In addition, it was noted that additional lengths of tie-ins were added to intersecting roads, as for example, along Whitesville Road, Bradley Park, and US 27/SR l/Veteran's Parkway, extending the limits of the project construction north and south from where it intersects with Whittlesey Road.
