The proposed project consists of upgrading the existing traffic signal installations at five intersections in Washington County and within the city limits of Sandersville and Tennille (Figure 1). Upgrades vary at these intersections and could include the replacement of the existing signal poles as well as the installation of conduits, cabinets, and pedestrian accommodations. The intersections are as follows:
1. SR 15 at Adams Street
2. SR 15 at McCarty Street
3. SR 15 at SR 24/Fill Line Freeway
4. SR 24/Fall Line Freeway at Linton Road
5. SR 24/Fall Line Freeway at Deepstep Road
