The proposed project would consist of road maintenance activities along a 1.82 mile section of State Route (SR) 520 in Brantley County from Sears Circle to Morgan Circle (MP 12.756- MP 14.620) (Figure 1). These maintenance activities include the installation of handicapped-accessible ramps, milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, and the installation of raised pavement markers. No work is proposed beyond 5 ft. of the existing edge of pavement. On all bridges with concrete decks, there will only be restriping. All work would occur along SR 520 within the existing right-of-way (ROW). Curb cuts are proposed at the locations shown in Figure 1 and are as follows: Johnson Street, Jackson Street, Ervin Street, Allen Road, James Street, Courthouse Road, Cannon Street, Bryan Street, and Hughes Street.
