"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project HES -8038 (6), Muscogee Co., has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.
This project proposes to widen St. Mary’s Road in Columbus from Playa Delray Drive to the Lindsay Creek Bypass (S .R. 411) ramp. Widening would be from the existing two-lane facility to four -lanes. The project would be approximately .14 mile in length . Al l construction would take place within the existing 60 to 120 feet of R/W.
