Georgia DOT project BHF-154-1(2) is an in-place bridge replacement over Town Creek on S.R. 128 in Macon County. Because the project is in-place no new areas will be impacted and only areas disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected. For this reason no archaeological field inspection is necessary and the archaeological resources of the State will not be affected. Project BHF-154-1(2) Macon consists of widening to 44' the existing bridge over Town Creek on S.R. 128. This improvement will be made on the existing location.
