Abstract

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BRF-036-1(8), Coffee County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor. The bridge over Hog Creek on S.R. 32 will be replaced on existing alignment. Construction will occur within the 100-200' of existing right- of- way. This existing corridor was surveyed for a total length of approximately 1700 feet.
