Abstract

This project proposes to realign SR 382 for approximately 0.40 mile heading east to Its Intersection with CR 239/0id Highway 5, constructing a roundabout at the intersection of SR 382 and CR 239/0id Highway 5, and extending State Route (SR) 382 to SR 515 on new location for approximately 0.44 mile. Additionally, CR 239/0id Highway 5 will be reconstructed for approximately 0.20 mile to account for the roundabout improvement. Improvements will also occur to the north and south on SR 515 for a total length of 0.5 mile to accommodate the new intersection with SR 382. The project would consist of two 12-foot travel lanes with 10-foot shoulders. There would also be two 6.5-foot paved bike lanes designed within the 10-foot shoulders to accommodate bike traffic. The total project length is 1.54 miles. The proposed right of way as measured perpendicularly from centerlines varies by segment. It extends out 60 to 150 feet on the right side and zero to 113 feet on the left side of SR 382 West, 60 to 150 feet on the right side and 65 to 195 feet on the left side of SR 382 East, 24.72 to 60 feet on the right side and 100 feet on the left side of CR 239 North, and 25 to 83.17 feet left side and 55 to 100 feet on the right side of CR 239 South. The proposed right of way along SR 515 extends out 170 to 220 feet on the right and 130 to 170 on the left.
