Named by Robert Wauchope as part of the Woodstock series. This is the same as Woodstock Complicated Stamped, which is the recommended name. Named after Woodstock, Georgia.
Complicated stamping on sand / grit-tempered pottery. Stamped diamonds are the most common design. Line blocks and herringbone are the second-most common designs. The most common vessel form is the wide-mouthed conoidal jar.
