The current project was conducted as an addendum to the 2004 survey along the Peachtree Street North Corridor between the intersection of 10th Street and Spring Street conducted by Theresa Hamby of New South Associates. The decision was made to expand the planned streetscapes to include the length of Peachtree Street from the intersection of Spring Street to the 1-85 overpass. The proposed project will include widened sidewalks, special paving, the addition of small trees and furniture, improved crosswalks, and street and pedestrian scale lighting. The proposed right-of-way will not differ from the existing right-of-way.
