Abstract

The proposed project would provide pedestrian, streetscape, and landscape improvements on Cobb Parkway/US41/SR3 from just northwest of Spring Road/Circle 75 Parkway to just northwest of Hargrove Road/Herodian Way for a total length of 0.4 miles long (2,110 feet) (see attached location map). The existing right-of-way ranges between 155 and 235 feet. The proposed project would consist of 5 to 7 foot wide concrete sidewalks with fighting and landscaping. Planter beds and concrete pads would be provided at various locations throughout the corridor. All improvements would be made to current Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards. These improvements would require variable widths of additional right-of-way at various locations on the southwest side of the corridor, with a maximum width of approximately 15 feet. Project implementation would also require variable widths of construction easements throughout the project corridor on both sides of the roadway for the construction of slopes and driveway tie-ins. The maximum width of required' easements would be approximately 40 feet.
