A section of the proposed alignment has been shifted to the west. Beginning approximately 330 feet west of the proposed roundabout at McFarland Lane and SR 372/Birmingham Highway, the proposed alignment would shift to the west a maximum of 229 feet, measured centerline to centerline. The length of the road section to be shifted is approximately 550 feet. The proposed shift is a result of coordination between the City of Milton and the commercial developer for the area in the northwest quadrant of SR 372/Birmingham Highway and Crabapple Road to maximize the area for future development.
