Abstract

The proposed project would increase pedestrian safety and mobility along SR 120/Kimball Bridge Road/Abbotts Bridge Road in the City of Johns Creek, Georgia. The proposed project would extend from Webb Bridge Road to a point approximately 560 feet west of Abbotts Run Trail, where the project would connect to existing sidewalks. The total project length would be approximately 2.1 miles. The proposed project includes the addition of a 1 0-foot multi-use trail along the north side of SR 120/Kimball Bridge Road/Abbotts Bridge Road from Webb Bridge Road to Jones Bridge Road. To the east of Jones Bridge Road, the proposed project would provide a continuous five-foot sidewalk along the south side of SR 120/Kimball Bridge Road/Abbotts Bridge Road extending to the project's eastern terminus. The proposed project would require approximately 0.2 acre of right-of-way (ROW) and 1.3 acres of easement. The existing ROW is 160 feet at its maximum width. The required ROW is also 160 feet at its maximum width; the 1.3 acres of easement is included within the required ROW. The project would be constructed in compliance with the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
