"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, P.I. No. 0010054, Dooly County has been assessed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)".

The proposed project would consist of the intersection improvement of SR 155 at Kellytown Road/CR 107.

The proposed project would widen Buena Vista Road to four lanes with a raised median. The proposed project would begin at the intersection of Buena Vista Road and Brighton Road and end at the intersection of Buena Vista Road and Dogwood Avenue.

The proposed project would construct a southbound passing lane on SR 47 beginning at the intersection of CR 46 and ending just north of the existing bridge over Keg Creek. Existing right-of-way varies from 100 to 150 feet and an additional 10 to 20 feet of right-of-way would be required.

The proposed project would replace the structurally deficient bridge over Pond Fork Creek on County Road 248, Jackson County. The new culvert would be constructed just north of the existing bridge. The total project length would be 0.17 mile.

On September 16 and 17, 2002, four staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted an archaeological survey of three access roads for the Chatham County Economic Development Site.

The proposed project would replace the existing bridge over Sapp Creek on SR 112 in Grady County with a concrete bridge culvert. The proposed bridge culvert will be used as the detour on the west side of SR 112 to maintain traffic flow during construction. The existing right-of-way is 100 feet.

The proposed project would reconstruct 14 median crossovers on SR 247/US 129 in Bibb County. The total project length is 4.25 miles. Existing right-of-way is 100 feet and no additional right-of-way would be required.

Site 9WG(DOT)20 was located on February 11, 2009 during an archaeological survey for Georgia Department of Transportation project STP-0007-00(415), Washington County. The proposed project would improve the intersection of SR 242 and Waco Mill Road and South Hospital Road.
