A cultural resource survey was performed in Hinesville, Georgia, on June 26 and 27 and July 3, 1990 as part of an 801 family housing project for Fort Stewart personnel. The project area covers approximately 22.25 ha (55 acres). Two isolated artifacts and one site were located.

A series of cultural resource surveys were performed on Fort Benning in areas where timber harvesting and a training exercise were to take place. One isolated occurrence in Alabama and one site in Georgia were located. The site has been badly disturbed by previous road construction.

A cultural resource survey was performed on Fort Benning for the proposed Child Support Center for 198 children. No cultural resources were located as a result of the 2 ha (5 ac) survey. We recommend that a determination of "No Effect" to cultural resources be made for the project.
