The proposed project has been surveyed for historic and archaeological resources in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto. The survey boundary and methodology were established using the GDOT/FHWA Cultural Resource Survey Guidelines.

Replace both bridges with one 38' X 400' concrete bridge on existing alignment. Reconstruct approaches to approximately 500' in length with 24' paving and 8' shoulders. The required right-of-way is 120 feet. The road will be closed during construction.

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-285(9), located in Troup County. The bridge is on CR 191/ Dallas Mill Road and crosses Sulphur Creek. The existing structure is a 24.3 foot wide and 112 foot long bridge with timber pilings and a concrete deck. The existing ROW is approximately 80 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRF-027-2(14), located in Early County. The bridge is on US 27/ SR 1 and crosses Wamble Creek. The existing structure is a 24 foot wide and 60 foot long bridge structure with timber pilings, timber caps, steel stringers, concrete deck, and concrete handrail.

This is a bridge project, ER-74-2(36), located in Coweta County. The bridge is on SR 85/ SR 74 and crosses Keg Creek. The existing structure is a 7.9 meter wide by 32.9 meter long. The existing ROW is 39.6 meters.

New structures will be a triple 9’ x 8’ x 50’ bridge culvert, a double 7’ x 6’ x 50’ box culvert, a triple 9’ x 8’ x 50’ bridge culvert, a triple 9’ x 8’ x 50’ bridge culvert and a 40’ x 320’’ bridge, respectively.

Construct a 38'X 90' parallel bridge and widen existing bridge to 38'X 90'. Approaches to be reconstructed as part of adjoining EDS-565(2) project. Additional right-of-way required to approximately 185 feet. The present bridge will be used as a detour during construction.

The required structure will be a 24 ft. wide by approximately 150 ft. long bridge. The bridge will be relocated approx. 50 ft. downstream to correct the poor existing alignment.

The pipes at Ebenezer Creek are proposed to be replaced with a double-double 3.0m x 3m (10’ x 10’) bridge culvert and 6.7m (22 feet) of asphalt paving with 1.5m (5 foot) wide earth shoulders on existing alignment. The road will be closed and an off-site detour will be used.

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-089(5), located in DeKalb County. The bridge is on Amsler Road and crosses Corn Creek. The existing bridge is a 14.5 feet wide by 26 feet long single span wood deck on steel I-beams with vertical stone abutments.
