In early September, 2001, an archeological survey was conducted along Sixes Road in Cherokee County, Georgia (Figure 1). The survey was undertaken to ensure that Cherokee County is in compliance with the Georgia Environmental Policy Act.

In January and February of 2003, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of proposed improvements to Lewis Road, in Powder Springs, Georgia.

In February, 2003, Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an archeological survey of proposed improvements to the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Old Alabama Connector, within the city limits of Roswell in Fulton County, Georgia.

On December 10, 2002, an archeological survey of 25 intersection improvement projects in Savannah, Georgia, was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. The intersections are primarily located along Anderson and Henry Streets in the west-central portion of the city (Figure 1).

In June of 2003, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a two week archeological survey and testing program at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Bullards Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA) property on the Altamaha River in Jeff Davis County (Figure 1).

Installation of a truck speed advisory system along SR 246. SR 246 is cut into the side of a mountain east of Dillard, Georgia. Because of hairpin turns and a 10% slope, there is concern that a head-on collision may occur.

Construction of a bridge on SR 25/US 17 to provide a grade separation between the roadway and a Georgia Ports Authority railroad track on Colonels Island. Project was surveyed in January 2002 and no cultural resources were recorded.

Between March 31 and April 2, 2004, a 50 acre tract-the proposed site of a new Wal-Mart-was archeologically surveyed by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc.
