We conclude that approval of this proposal would not constitute a major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.

The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) is planning to expand the Garden City Terminal's container storage area, located on the Savannah River about four miles upstream from Savannah (Figure 1).

This is a brief archeological assessment of the above referenced projects. As described by GDOT concept reports, the projects are minor, and consist of adding new traffic signals, pedestrian signals and adding crosswalks and raised pedestrian islands to both intersections.

In May of 2001, Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed Gray bypass, in Jones County, Georgia. Major portions of the bypass had been surveyed before (Gresham 2000), but the original alignment went through the Clinton Historic District.

To ensure that Augusta/Richmond County is in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended), a Phase I archeological survey was undertaken along the proposed St. Sebastian Way/Greene Street/Fifteenth Street/Riverwatch Parkway project.

In May of 2009 Southeastern Archeological Services conducted a Phase I archeological survey of three parcels of land (Tax Parcels 121-006A, 121-006B, and 121-003A) totaling 10.1 acres, composed mostly river floodplain with a section of a steep hillslope.

In June of 2009, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 85 acre Marina Bay Park in northwestern Hall County.

In mid-June, 2000, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a reconnaissance level archeological survey of approximately 355 acres in Murray County, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Transportation is proposing to build a road that will connect US 76/SR 282 and US 411/SR 61.

An intensive archeological survey of a proposed multi-use trail and sidewalks in Euharlee, Bartow County, Georgia, was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc.
