In January of 2006 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 3.1 ac Leach Road 115/25 kV substation and a 100 ft buffer zone around it in northern Hall County. The total area of potential effect was 5.6 ac (2.3 ha).
