This report presents the results of an intensive archeological survey of the proposed routing of the Fall Line Freeway between the Twiggs/Wilkinson County line and the western terminus of the Sandersville bypass in central Washington County.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted an intensive archeological survey of proposed improvements to State Route (SR) 17 between the cities of Elberton and Royston, in Elbert and Hart Counties, Georgia.

In March of 2000 Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed improvement and extension of Linecrest Road, which runs along DeKalb County's southern boundary.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is in the process of widening U.S. Highway 441 to a four lane-divided highway. As part of the process, cultural resource surveys were conducted in Dodge, Laurens and Wheeler Counties in 1995.

In October of 1998, an 18.8 km (11.7 mi) long corridor for the proposed rerouting of State Route 72 in Madison and Elbert Counties was archeologically surveyed. The draft archeological survey and site testing report for this proposed reconfiguration of S.R.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace two bridges on State Route (SR) 91 in central Miller County, just southwest of the county seat of Colquitt,.

The project consists of various improvements along a 15 km (9.3 mi) length of GA 400 (from milepost 13.960 to 22.470 in Fulton County and Milepost 0.000 to 1.800 in Forsyth County). GA 400 is a limited access, divided highway.

In January, 2006 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 3.1 ac Leach Road 115/25 kV substation and a 100 ft buffer zone around it in northern Hall County. The total area of potential effect was 5.6 ac (2.3 ha).

The subject of this report is an approximately 80 by 80 ft (24 by 24 m) area that was not identified when the original survey of this bridge replacement project was conducted in 2001 (Patton 2002).

The project consists of adding 150 ft of required right-of-way to the west end of the previously delineated and surveyed project area, which was a 836 m (2740 ft) long and spanned the South River. The new right-of-way will be 15 ft wider than existing right-of-way on both sides of SR 20.
