Resources Survey of the Swift Mill Property located in Columbus (Muscogee County), Georgia.

Southern Research, Historic Preservation Consultants, Inc. has completed a Phase I cultural resources survey of eight blocks, totaling 609 acres, within Compartments 149, 150, and 152 of the Oconee Ranger District, Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest (Figure 1).

The goal of the archaeological survey at the Wadsworth cemetery was to delineate the boundaries and provide an estimate of how many individuals might be buried there.

Data recovery was conducted on Squawking Hawk Ridge (9BL290) and Turkey Ridge (9BL299), located to the southwest of Milledgeville in central Baldwin County, Georgia. The sites were previously tested and determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
