In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the following bridge projects were surveyed for archaeological material: BHS-1778(10), Floyd County. The project consists of bridge replacements over Youngmill and Dykes Creek on SR 293. Dykes Creek is the main area tributary to the Etowah River. The bridges will be constructed within existing right-of-way and on existing alignment. The purpose of the project is to replace 29' x 21' concrete bridge with Triple 9' x 8' concrete bridge culvert.
