Abstract

Project CSBRG-0007-00(393) consists of replacing the structurally deficient, existing bridge on CR 133 over Little Sugar Creek in Morgan County, Georgia. The total project length is approximately 785 feet beginning at M.P. 1.609 and extending to M.P. 1.758. The proposed typical section would consist of two 11-foot travel lanes with 2-foot paved shoulders and 6-foot grassed shoulders. The existing right-of-way (ROW) is approximately 100 feet. No additional ROW is needed. Permanent easement of 0.54 acre would be required for construction purposes. The typical section of the bridge would consist of a 26-foot-wide concrete structure that would be 120 feet long and consist of two 11-foot travel lanes and 2-foot shoulders. CR 133 will be closed during construction. Since the original project was conducted, easements have been extended beyond the original APE. All easement is permanent and has increased from 0.45 acre to 0.54 acre. The easement will extend 20 feet in width beyond the original APE on the west side of CR 133 and 15 feet in width on the east side. The easement will extend for a distance of 341 feet in length on the west side of CR 133 and 153 feet in length on the east side of CR 133. These areas are indicated in the attached Figure 2.
