Abstract

The proposed projects consist of two locally funded projects and two federally funded projects, which would be let and constructed concurrently (Bron Cleveland Associates 2009, copy attached). Local Projects SP01-46-001 & SP05-46-002 would realign SR 120 within its existing form from Buford Highway to north of Hill Street. Existing right-of-way (ROW) varies between 35 feet and 100 feet as would the proposed ROW. Implementation would require 0.74 acre of ROW, 0.36 acre of permanent easement, 0.54 acre of temporary easement, and a 0.22 acre of driveway easement. GDOT CSCMQ-0006-00(839) would construct 5-foot to 8-foot sidewalks along SR 120 from Buford Highway to north of Hill Street within existing curb and gutter. CSCMQ-0006-00(839) would be constructed within existing ROW and within ROW acquired for the locally funded projects. Project CSSTP-0007-00(1 00) would provide pedestrian facility improvements at the intersection of SR 120 and Buford Highway. Approximately 0.09 acre of ROW, 0.02 acre of temporary construction easements, and 0.02 acre of driveway easements would be required for CSSTP-0007-00(100). Total project length would be approximately 0.3 miles (Figure 1). The original survey (STP-0002-00(860); Tankersley 2006a) for the realignment of SR 120 from Buford Highway to Hill Street did not include the 320 feet north of Hill Street. Subsequent changes in the project financing resulted in new GDOT project numbers (given above) for this undertaking. The present addendum addresses this additional Hill Street footage (Figure 2).
