Road improvements are planned for a 2.5-mile stretch of Carpenter Road west of Tifton Road. In order to comply with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, a cultural resources survey was completed by Southwind Archaeological Enterprises in February, 2002.
