During the month of December, 1994 New South Associates, Inc. conducted a 29 km (18 mi) survey of US Highway 341/SR 27 in Appling and Wayne Counties, southeastern Georgia. This report details the background, methods, and results of this project.

This report presents the results of archaeological testing at Sites 9EF78, 9SN165, and 9SN167 that were evaluated as potentially eligible for inclusion to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) (Elliott 1994).

Between November 12 and 19, 1996, two archaeologists from New South Associates, Inc. conducted an archaeological survey along a proposed highway widening corridor and bypass in Chattooga County, northwestern Georgia.

Between 23 June and 1 July, 1997, two archaeologists from New South Associates, Inc. conducted a 5.7 mile (9.17 km) long archaeological survey along a proposed bypass in Stephens County, northeastern Georgia.

Between March 11 and 27, 1996, New South Associates conducted a archaeological survey and testing along two proposed highway widening corridors in east-central Georgia.

The report outlines the results of an archaeological survey of the proposed South LaGrange Loop, a 5.68 mile (9.14 km) long corridor. This survey was conducted for the Georgia Department of Transportation, project STP-2921(3).

Between October 29, 1997 and November 3, 1997, a two person crew from New South Associates, Inc. surveyed a 55 acre area designated for new housing on the Fort Stewart military base, located on the coastal plain of Georgia.

This report outlines the results of New South Associates' archaeological survey and testing of the proposed Georgia Department of Transportation's (GDOT) widening and re-alignment of USl9/SR3 between Americus and Butler in southwestern Georgia.
