The proposed project would reconstruct and widen S.R.154/U.S.29 between Palmetto and Fairburn. As proposed the project would begin at the intersection of S.R.154 in Palmetto then would extend easterly along S.R.14/U.S.29 to the intersection of S.R.74 in Fairburn.

The proposed project would symmetrically widen S.R. 120/Maddox Street in Alpharetta. The project as proposed would begin at the intersection of S.R. 9 then would proceed easterly along S.R.120/Maddox Street to a point just east of the U.S. 19/S.R.400 interchange.

No significant archaeological resources were located within the proposed project corridor as described in paragraph two above.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, projects FR-104-1 (32)&(33) , BHF-F-104-1(29), Fu1ton-Gwinnett Counties has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the Nat

No significant archaeological resources were located within the proposed project corridor as described in paragraph two above.

No existing or eligible National Register archaeological resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.

The proposed projects would reconstruct and widen S.R. 15/U.S. 441 and U.S. 129/Macon Highway beginning at old S.R. 207/C.R. 274 north of Watkinsville and extending northeasterly to South Milledge Avenue in Athens. Required right-of-way varies from 15 to 98 feet.

The original project proposed the relocation of the east bound off ramp terminal to intersect Hawthorn Avenue approximately 400 feet west of Prince Avenue in order to remove one leg of the existing five point intersection.

The proposed project was surveyed by Brockington & Associates, Inc. in November of 1992 for the GDOT. At that time, the project was known as EDS-72(26).
