This is a bridge project, BRMLB-9011(15), located in DeKalb County. The bridge is on Rockbridge Road and cross Snapfinger Creek. The existing structure is a 24 foot wide by 69 foot long bridge with a concrete deck on steel beams, timber pile bents, and vertical abutments of granite masonry.

70’ x 28’ concrete bridge; no wetland involvement, no displacements, no public water intakes, no potentially significant archaeological resources.

Archaeologist was unable to determine the extent of wetlands at this location. He was unfamiliar with this type of hydrologic/ environmental setting (i.e. marshy-swampy, dark sandy soil, high water table, scrub).

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-083(7), located in Dade County. The bridge is on CR 9/ Old Birmingham Highway and crosses the Southern Railroad. The existing structure is a 121 foot long by 16 foot wide bridge with a wooden substructure and deck. The existing ROW is 30 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-111(11), located in Fannin County. The bridge is on CR 169 and crosses Little Fightingtown Creek. The existing structure is a 32 feet long by 16 feet wide bridge with rubble masonry, steel stringers, and wood floor. The existing ROW is 30 to 40 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRMLB-3750(1), located in Floyd County. The bridge is on Booze Mountain Road and crosses Booze Creek. The existing structure is a 31 foot long by 17 foot wide concrete and steel bridge. The existing ROW is 40 feet.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project EDS-440(3), Jenkins County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Replace bridge on existing alignment proposed structure Concrete Bridge. Required 80' R/W. Road to be closed during construction. Drainage Area - 48 Sq. Mi.

Replace existing structure with a 400’ x 56’ concrete and steel bridge. Existing row=200.’ No potentially significant archaeological resources.

500 feet south of the existing bridge and ending 500 feet north of the existing bridge, replace existing bridge with Dbl. +Triple 10' X 11 ' concrete bridge culvert Right-of-way required is 10 feet left and right.
