The purpose of this report is to present the results of Phase II archaeological testing URS Group, Inc.

This report presents the results of an historical and geophysical evaluation URS Corporation conducted at two historic cemetery sites for the Environmental Management Division, 78 CEG/CEV, Robins Air Force Base, Houston County, Georgia.

The proposed project would consist of the construction of the Roberta Walking Trail on South Matthews Street. The project corridor extends approximately 0.46 mile along South Matthews Street between SR 42/East Agency Street and the city cemetery.

The purpose of this report is to present the results of a Phase II archaeological testing project and subsequent construction monitoring conducted at Site 9HT56 for Robins Air Force Base, Houston County, Georgia.

The Georgia Robins Aerospace Maintenance Partnership (G-RAMP) is a proposed development involving the City of Warner Robins and Robins Air Force Base (AFB) in northern Houston County, Georgia.

Greenhouse Consultants incorporated was retained by QORE Property Sciences to provide a cultural resources survey and archaeological testing of the proposed Rocky Plains SST tower site near Covington, Newton County, Georgia. The survey fieldwork was completed November 23, 2001, by Stephen A.

Currently 55 known archaeological sites are on property controlled by Robins Air Force Base (AFB). Previous to the current investigation, 11 of the 55 had been found to be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and 23 had been declared NRHP-ineligible.

Since 1987, 43 previously unknown archaeological sites have been discovered on Robins Air Force Base (AFB).

The construction and operation of the proposed runway Approach Lighting System (ALS) for Runway 5 on land leased by Robins AFB would impact archaeological site 9Ht56, which is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
