The proposed Swakers substation and transmission lin Ben Hill County, Georgia, were surveyed in order to locate and assess any archaeological sites which may exist. No artifacts or other evidence of prehistoric or significant historic activity were found.

The proposed Ocee substation, Fulton County, Georgia, was surveyed in order to locate and assess any archaeological sites which may exist. No artifacts or other evidence of prehistoric or significant historic activity were found.

The proposed College Square substation and transmission line, Hall County, Georgia, was surveyed for the purpose of identifying any significant prehistoric or historic sites which might exist on the property. No sites were found within the survey area.

The site of the proposed Cedar Mountain substation, Douglas County, Georgia, was intensively surveyed for the purpose of identifying any significant sites which might exist on the property. No significant sites were found within the survey area.

The 4.5 mile survey area for the proposed Fairview-Stockbridge transmission line, Henry County, Georgia, was surveyed for the purposed of identifying any sites within the survey area which may be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. No such sites were found.

The survey area of the proposed Milledgeville 201 facilities plan was examined for the purpose of locating and assessing the significance of any prehistoric or historic resources which may exist. One small site, represented by a surface scatter of debris, was found.

The Langston substation site, Bulloch County, Georgia, is located just off Langston Church Road near Statesboro (Figure 1). It is situated on the crest of a hill (Plate 1).
