At the request of Savannah Laboratories an Environmental Services, a preliminary archaeological survey was conducted of the Rincon, Georgia, 2010 facility planning area with specific concentration on the proposed plant site and the pipelines serving that facilities.

This paper reports on research conducted into the current condition of Confederate riverine obstructions located in the vicinity of Elba Island, Chatham County, Georgia.

The survey identifies and evaluates shipwrecks and other vessel remains in three different marine environments in Chatham County , Georgia, and applies this data to predict the locations and conditions of these resources in similar areas of the coastal counties.
