Investigation into the subfloor basement fill as part of remodeling activities at 101, 103, and 105 River Street was conducted in those areas likely to be impacted by pipe routing. At 101 River Street this location was in the northwestern corner of the building.

The survey of the Powell Duffryn Oil Company water front and proposed spoil areas was accomplished during late April and early May 1983. Investigations consisted of ground walkover and surface testing accompanied with some test pits in more sensitive areas.

This paper reports on the survey of a 185.91 acre tract of land located in Richmond Hill, Georgia and owned by. International Paper Realty Corporation of Savannah, Georgia. The survey consisted of a combination of systematic and random attempts to identify cultural material within the tract.

During late July 1989, archaeological exploration and mitigation work was conducted on the site of the proposed Jek:yll Island Club Hotel Annex. This work was mandated because the site was within a National Reigster District and had been previously identified as an archaeological site.

A cultural resources survey of 113.58 acres was conducted near Rincon, Effingham County, Georgia, during March and April 1986. The survey covered the proposed location of a 201 facility for the town of Rincon. This survey encountered three sites.

At the request of Savannah Laboratories an Environmental Services, a preliminary archaeological survey was conducted of the Rincon, Georgia, 2010 facility planning area with specific concentration on the proposed plant site and the pipelines serving that facilities.
