DNR plans to construct a boat ramp and parking area on the Ocmulgee River in Bibb County. The project area lies on the east bank of the river adjacent to the railroad right of way at Bond Swamp.

The Game Management Section of the Wildlife Resources Division of Georgia Department of Natural Resources plans to convert several log loading areas within Hannahatchee Wildlife Management Area into game openings. DNR will mechanically clear the areas of limbs prior to seeding.

Smithgall proposes expanding six existing wildlife openings. An archaeological survey of the areas was conducted on June 30, 2004 by Historic Preservation Division Staff Archaeologist Ronnie Rogers and HPD intern Julie Byrd, accompanied by Scott Bardenwerper of Smithgall.

Arrowhead Seed Farm, located near the Bleckley/Pulaski County line, plans to return ca. 10 acres of open field to longleaf pine and wiregrass cover. Site preparation will include using a subsoil plow, which will penetrate to a depth of ca. 14 inches.
