A Cultural Resources Inventory Survey was conducted on the 1,372 acres of Compartment 129, Oconee National Forest, Jones County, Georgia, in 1980 by John Barrett. Six sites were found and revisited by Jack Wynn in 1981, at which time another site was located.

This cultural resource survey covers 257.5 acres near Hanna Branch, in northern Putnam and Jasper Counties for the proposed Lynch land exchange, examined in March and May 1982. An unmarked cemetery and three heavily disturbed late 19th-early 20th century house sites were found on the tract.

The present report summarizes a cultural resource survey of 606 acres of Compartment 132 (Tract U-201 only), 328 acres of which are available for exchange. The compartment is accessible via S.R. 212 from Resseau's Cross Roads south approximately 0.51 miles.
