In December, 1995, and January, 1996, Panamerican Consultants, Inc. (PCI), archaeologically surveyed approximately 276 hectares (ha) (682 acres [ac]) in the Cantonment area of Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Panamerican Consultants, Inc. (PCI), performed an archaeological survey of 1,366 hectares (ha) (3,377 acres [ac.]) in response to a Scope of Work for cultural resources survey of selected areas at the Townsend Bombing Range, McIntosh County, Georgia.

In January and February, 1996, Panamerican Consultants performed Phase II testing on ten archaeological sites at Fort Gordon, Georgia. This work was carried out under contract DACW21 93-D-0040, Delivery Order 0023, for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Gordon.
