The project is located in west central McDuffie County, northwest of Thomson, Georgia. A new interchange is proposed for the existing Three Points Road and Interstate 20. The ramps for this interchange were previously surveyed (Joseph and Edwards 2003).

The Georgia Department of Transportation proposes to construct improvements on two interchanges on Interstate 75 in Lowndes County, Georgia. This will entail rerouting the on and off ramps, as well as replacing the bridges, widening the approach roads, and upgrading the intersections.

The Georgia Department of Transportation proposes to replace the bridge on Killian Hill Road (CR 417) over the Yellow River in Gwinnett County, Georgia. This will entail replacing the existing bridge and raising the current elevation of the bridge and approach road.

The project area is located along Sugarloaf Parkway and Satellite Boulevard, 5.8 km (3.6 miles) southeast of Duluth and 9.9 km (6.1 miles) northwest of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

The project area is a located in northern Lowndes County, just west of the Hahira town center. The rerouting of the existing Union Road (CR 38) is required to allow for the redesign and upgrade of the Interstate 75 interchange with Main Street, Hahira (GA 122, Exit 29).

The Georgia Department of Transportation proposes to construct sidewalks along four roads in the City of Douglasville, Douglas County, Georgia. Sidewalks are to be added on one side of each road within the existing right-of-way.

The project area is located in the northwest section of Jesup, Georgia. It is a rerouting of Lanes Bridge Road (GA 169) between the intersections with Spring Grove Road and West Cherry Street, passing over the Norfolk Southern Railroad line.

The Georgia Department of Transportation proposes to construct a bypass for the city of Thomson, Georgia. The new roadway is northwest of the city and is to extend between Three Points Road and US 78 near the Thomson-McDuffie County Airport.

This report documents the findings of a Phase III archaeological examination of site 9CO300 just off of Cooper Lake Road in Cobb County, Georgia. The research was conducted by Garrow & Associates, Inc. for Cobb County Department of Transportation.
