The proposed project will resurface Austell Road/SR 5. The project will begin at the intersection of SR 5 and South Cobb Drive. It will end at the Pearle Street intersection in the city of Smyrna. All construction will be limited to the existing pavement.

The subject project proposes to replace cantilever sign structures that have four anchor bolts and that are not on the interstate system. The proposed project would replace one sign structure on SR 5 in Cobb County on the westbound approach to the US 41 exit.

The proposed project would consist of the installation of both aerial and underground communication conduit and fiber optic cable', _and video surveillance cameras along Windy Hill Road.

Originally, the proposed project consisted of the addition of left and right turn lanes on the eastbound and westbound approaches of Oglesby and Hill Roads to SR 6/US 278 in Cobb County. The existing traffic signal at Brownsville Road was to be upgraded.

The proposed project consists of upgrading seventeen existing traffic signals on S. R. 280 (South Cobb Drive) from the 1-285 Northbound on-ramp to Pat Mell Road, and one existing signal on Pat Mell Road at Old Concord Road.

Project STP-46-1(31) consists of maintenance for drainage problems at two sites in the city of Covington. Site 1 is located at the intersection of SR 12 and Hazelbrand Road. Existing right-of-way at the intersection is approximately 24.4 m (80 ft).

Project SAMA-36(41) involves the leveling, resurfacing, and addition of 0.6 m (2 ft) paved shoulders on to SR 36 in Newton County. The proposed project would begin at the Butts County line and would end approximately 0.05 km (0.03 mi) north of the intersection of SR 36 and Hummingbird Lane.

The proposed project consists of the replacement of the bridge on CR 235/Alcovy over the Alcovy River northeast of the city of Lawrenceville. The project would begin approximately 110 m (360.9 ft) west of the Alcovy River and would end approximately 100 m (328.1 ft) east of the Alcovy River.
