This report documents the results of investigation of ten sites in floodwater control Structures 17 and 19 on Garrett Creek, Carroll County, Georgia.

One hundred and fifteen sites were recorded in this survey of the Upper Satilla Basin. The sites are located along the Satilla River in Pierce and. Ware counties, Seventeen Mile Creek, Hog Creek, Hurricane Creek, Big Satilla Creed, and along smaller feeder streams in the basin.

An archaeological study was conducted of the area encompassed by Robins A.F.B. The purpose of the study was two fold: (1) to determine the significance of a previously located prehistoric site; and (2) to locate and record any other archaeological or historic sites on the base.
