The Rock Mountain survey was begun in December, 1972, in response to a request for survey data submitted by the Georgia Historical Commission. The cost of the survey was borne by the Historical Commission. The survey employed Jan Fortune and was directed by P. H. Garrow.

This report summarizes a cultural resource survey of an approximately ½ acre tract of land located on a knoll several hundred meters southeast of the Brasstown Work Center.

This Plan details the measures proposed for the mitigation of adverse impacts upon cultural resources within the Cultural Resource Management Study Area (CRMSA) of the proposed Rocky Mountain Project ('hereinafter "RMP'), Floyd County, Georgia.

This 1978 cultural resources survey report was prepared prior to construction of a new Ivylog Gap Road in Union County, north of Blairsville, Georgia, which has since been constructed. The approximately 6.5 mile road was surveyed.
