Site 9HE161 is a prehistoric archaeological site exhibiting a primary Late Woodland (Late Swift Creek/Napier) component and a secondary Middle Woodland (Cartersville) component. The site is located approximately 10.8 kilometers (6.7 miles) southeast of Franklin, Georgia, in Heard County.

On June 11, 2009, Brockington and Associates, Inc. completed a Phase I cultural resources survey at the proposed location of a US Army Reserve Center, southwest of the intersection of Georgia State Route 316 and Bethlehem Road, near Winder, Georgia (referred to as the Preferred Site).
