Archaeological investigations were undertaken at the Sapelo Island Lighthouse and its adjacent Oil House on December 14 and 15, 1996 (Figures 1 & 2).

The Old House Site is located on the western margin of little St. Simons Island in Glynn County, Georgia (Figure 1 ).

The New Manchester Mill archaeological testing project began on August 5, 1993 and was completed on August 21, 1993. The mill is located at Sweetwater Creek State Park in Douglas County, Georgia and the project was supported by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

An archaeological survey was conducted on July 29, 1983 at the proposed construction area of four cottages at Little Ocmulgee State Park, Wheeler County. The proposed .75 ha impact zone Is located along the bank of a small artificial lake created by impounding the Little Ocmulgee River.

In accordance with the Parks and Historic Sites Capital Outlay Projects SFY 83 planned development, an archaeological survey was carried out at Cloudland Canyon State Park on August 23 and 24, 1982.
