On June 24, 1998, New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the approximately 488 meters (1,600 feet) of Northbound Ramp at Interstate 75 and Barrett Parkway in Cobb County, Georgia.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed I-85/SR 316 interchange improvements and SR 316 Auxiliary Lanes on July 11 and 12, 1995. The project corridor is approximately 4 miles in length with a maximum right-of-way of 250 feet.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed State Route 20 widening and relocation on April 2 and 5, 1996.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed North Brown Road relocation on May 16, 1995. The project corridor is approximately 1.3 miles in length with 0.8 miles of new alignment and 0.5 miles of existing road widening. The right-of-way is 125 feet wide.

New South Associates, between July 6 and 8, 1995, conducted three days of Phase I archaeological survey for the Richmond County Board of Commissioners. The survey covered a 50 acre tract south of Augusta. Only one site, a late 19th to early 20th century house site, was located.

On November 29, New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the proposed Old Canton Road widening and bridge replacement.

New South Associates conducted six days of Phase I intensive archaeological survey of 800 acres of the Gwinnett Progress Center in Gwinnett County during the period from February 22 through March 3, 1995.

New South Associates of Stone Mountain, Georgia conducted a Phase I archeological and architectural survey of six tracts in Bartow County, Georgia that are candidate sites for a proposed radio communications tower. The tower would be part of the U.S.

Data recovery excavations were conducted at cultural property GP-JO-05, Jones County, Georgia, between August 19 and September 30, 1985 and between April 1 and May 23, 1986. Cultural property GP-JO-05 was owned, and sometimes occupied, by the Freeman family between cat 1817 to 1876.

On December 4, 5, and 6, 1991 and on March 13, 1992, New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the Kennedy Parkway highway project near the intersection of I-75 and I-285 in Cobb County, Georgia for Moreland Altobelli Associates.
