Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) conducted a Phase I intensive archeological survey of a proposed new alternative bypass of US 27/SR 1 around the crossroads community of Suttons Corner in eastern Clay County for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

With this letter we wish to report on the results of our Phase I archeological survey of the area of potential effect (APE) for a proposed section of paved hiking trail and related amenities located near the Tugaloo River in eastern Stephens County.

This project consists of three components: 1) replacing an old fence around the Cedarwood Cemetery, a predominantly nineteenth century cemetery in the heart of the town of Richland, 2) installing historic-style street lights along Park Drive, and 3) landscape enhancement of City's welcome sign on

This project consists of two parts: 1. the addition of 400 sq ft of permanent easement on the north side of Sheraton Drive to allow for the replacement of an existing drainage structure, and 2. the improvement to a driveway off of Arkwright Road that requires an easement.

The project consists of slight revisions of shoulder, drainage and intersection improvements at 34 small parcels along a 4.8 km length of Windsor Springs Road and along short lengths of several intersecting roads.

This project consists of widening a 0.62 mile length of Old Hull Road and making safety and operational improvements at four intersections along a 0.96 mile length of Old Hull Road in northeast central Clarke County. Virtually all of the project area was archeologically surveyed in 2005.

In July and August of 2008 Southeastern Archeological Services conducted a Phase I archeological survey of three parcels of land (Tax Parcels 10-4-0020, I0-4-002A, 10-2-005) near the crossing of Newton Bridge Road over the North Oconee River on the north side of Athens-Clarke County.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., completed an archeological survey of a ca. 66-ha (162-ac) tract of land on the southwest edge of Moultrie on which the City of Moultrie wishes to expand its existing wastewater treatment facility.

In January, 2001 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., conducted a Phase I archeological survey of a proposed 3.1 ha (7.7 ac) substation tract in southwestern Bulloch County, Georgia.
