Report Abstracts

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, STP-1891(5), McIntosh County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Project IM-STP-OOMS(259), Districtwide: Determination of No Undertaking; the subject project would consist of the joint rehabilitation of 35 bridges at various locations throughout District 1. The following bridges are included in the proposed project:

Georgia project PR-356-2(091), Dodge County, proposes the widening, leveling and resurfacing of a portion of County Road 356 in Dodge County. The existing typical section of this portion of County Road 356 consists of a 20-ft. width paved surface roadway with variable width shoulders.

This project is an investigation of waste site Project# TSAP-19 (29) located in Bibb County. The Department recently received a request from a private landowner to clear a portion of his property for use as a waste pit for construction debris.
