Archaeological survey was conducted in the upland portions of a 600 acre tract being considered for purchase by Robins Air Force Base in Houston County, Georgia. The survey examined 23 acres of uplands and suspected uplands to determine if archaeological remains were present.

Data recovery excavations were conducted at 9HY95, 9HY98, and 9HY104 in the autumn of 1996. The three prehistoric sites faced potential adverse effects related to the construction of the proposed Shoal Creek Reservoir.

Shovel testing and surface reconnaissance were utilized to archaeologically survey the proposed location of the Canton Cherokee County Business and Industrial Park. One prehistoric site, roughly 250 X 150 meters, was discovered in the terrace portion of the impact area.

Archaeological survey of a 302 acre proposed reservoir in Henry County, Georgia, resulted in the identification of six archaeological sites and the revisit of a previously recorded site. Survey methods included background research, a records search, and 40 interval screened shovel testing.

This report presents the results of background research and archaeological survey of the Hodnett Lake tract near Clarkesville in Habersham County, Georgia. Background research did not indicate any historic use of the project tract, and no archaeological sites were found.

A cultural resource inventory and assessment was undertaken on the 15.8 acre, Recreation Area C-5 on Lake Oconee, Greene County, Georgia. The research was undertaken to investigate a previously recorded cultural property, and to determine if additional cultural resources were present.

Garrow & Associates, Inc., conducted archaeological survey and testing for 5.9 miles of proposed sewer and/or natural gas pipeline in Houston County, Georgia.. The 50 ft wide corridor runs from Sandy Run Creek in the north to just south of the town of Kathleen at its southern terminus.

Cultural resource studies were conducted for a tract slated for impact by the expansion of the R. L. Sutton Water Treatment Plant located in Cobb County, Georgia. The 22 acre tract includes the floodplain of the Chattahoochee River and the adjacent uplands.

On 31 August 1994, Brockington and Associates, Inc. of Atlanta conducted an archaeological investigation of three areas within Georgia Power Company's lake shore land at Lake Oconee/Wallace Reservoir.
