Arrowhead Seed Farm, located near the Bleckley/Pulaski County line, plans to return ca. 10 acres of open field to longleaf pine and wiregrass cover. Site preparation will include using a subsoil plow, which will penetrate to a depth of ca. 14 inches.

Staff of the Office of the State Archaeologist, housed in the Historic Preservation Division of Georgia Department of Natural Resources, conducted an intensive archaeological survey for facilities associated with construction of a marina on 14 December 2004.

The Office of the State Archaeologist responded to a request for a site visit to inspect a rock mound that had been reported by a campground host at Bobby Brown State Park, located at the confluence of the Savannah and Broad Rivers in Elbert County.

Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Division of GaDNR plans to renovate Campground Loop D at High Falls State Park in Monroe County (Figure 1).

High Falls State Park (Figure 1) in Monroe County plans to construct a new visitor center on a new location near the existing facility. The new visitor center will be built on an eroded crest overlooking the dam.

On July 20, 2005, archaeologists from the Office of the State Archaeologist, housed in the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, visited a site on the Chatham County bank of the Ogeechee River (Figures 1 and 2). We were shown to the site by Mr.

Fort Yargo State Park, located south of Winder in Barrow County, Georgia, has extensive trail networks designed to accommodate hikers and cyclists. Some segments of the trail network were intended to serve both user groups, but recent conflicts have demonstrated a need to keep them separated.

Archaeological investigations were conducted to collect information about the nature of archaeological deposits associated with one of the three standing tabby slave cabins at North End Plantation.
