The project consists of the repair of the existing concrete beams and encasing the existing 18-inch square reinforced concrete piles. Piles to be encased should be cleaned of all foreign matter and unsound concrete prior to encasement.

Archaeological Assessment of a Fulton County Resurfacing Project. The proposed project would consist of mainline milling and resurfacing of I-75/1-85 beginning at University Avenue, then continuing northerly, ending at the Brookwood Interchange. Total project length is approximately 4.72 miles.

Archaeological Assessment of a Crawford/Upson County Resurfacing Project: The proposed project consists of resurfacing, leveling, milling, and shoulder building on US 80/SR 22 beginning at M.P.

Archaeological Assessment of a District 4 Resurfacing Project: the proposed project would consist of shoulder paving/building, leveling, and resurfacing on SR 374 in Seminole County.

Description of work: excavate an 8” wide by 3 feet deep trench, install a single 4”-4 way multi-cell conduit and backfill with concrete along martin Luther King Blvd.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is in the beginning stages of project development for this proposed transportation project.

Archaeological Assessment of District 3 Railroad Grade Crossing Improvement Projects: the proposed project would improve 51 existing railroad grade crossings throughout District 3 by installing standard roadway signs and utilizing new safety markings on existing pavement.

Archaeology was conducted by Forest Service archaeologist Jack Wynn. He cleared the project concerning archaeology for Section 106 purposes in late 1994. Jack found no cultural resources on or eligible for the NRHP.
