This project is within the City of Alpharetta, Fulton County, and consists of the widening and reconstruction of SR 9, reconfiguration of sideroads, pedestrian improvements and signal upgrades. The work is divided into two projects, PI 721790 and 721780.

The proposed project consists of construction along Perimeter Summit Parkway, Lake Hearn Drive, and Parkside Place in DeKalb County.

The overall proposed project would construct an ADA compliant, ten-foot to 12-foot wide multi-use trail beginning at the intersection of US 41 and Barrett Parkway and end at Bells Ferry Road, for a total project length of approximately 4.7 miles.

The proposed project calls for the reconstruction, rehabilitation, and widening of Carpenter Road (CR 75) in Tift County. The project begins at SR 520/US 82 and extends north to Davis Road (CR 216) and is partially within the city limits of the City of Tifton.

The proposed project would consist of upgrading the existing traffic signal installations at the following 13 intersections in Franklin, Hart and Madison Counties:

1. SR 8 / US 29 at SR 17 / Royston Bypass in the City of Royston

In May 2006, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed South Lake C-Tran Bus Transfer Facility project area.

On May 25th and 26, 2005, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey for the proposed widening of SR 324 near the town of Hog Mountain, Georgia.

In July and August 2004, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed MARTA West Line project area. The project area is located on the west side of Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, and includes portions of I-20 and Martin Luther King Jr.

The proposed improvements would include a 12-foot wide outside travel lane and an 11-foot wide inner travel lane in each direction. The project also includes a raised median varying in width from 10 to 66 feet. Turn lanes would be included at signalized intersections.

TRC Garrow Associates, Inc., was contracted by TV A to conduct additional Phase I survey and Phase II testing of six sites for the West Ringgold-Center Point transmission line in Catoosa and Whitfield counties, Georgia.
