This project is part of a larger statewide bridge project that meet the program's "low impact" requirements. These bridges are structurally deficient and will be replaced.

This project includes an approximately 7 mile section of SR 26 in Chatham County, beginning at the pavement joint that is 1,990 feet (ft.) west of Coleman Blvd. and ending at the pavement joint 800 ft. east of the railroad tracks (MP 5.954 to MP 12.956).

The proposed project consists of a 0.284 mile extension of CS 881/Town Creek Blvd. to connect to CR 39/0id Eatonton Rd. and to provide access from CR 39 to SR 44. The project proposes to construct two 12-ft. travel lanes with 8-ft.

The proposed project involves constructing a 1-lane roundabout at the existing 4-legged, two-way stop controlled intersection at SR16 and Old 85 Connector/Hollonville Road in Spalding County.

The project consisted of the repair of a shoulder slope located at Mile Post (M.P.) 0.5 on SR 3 8/US 84 in Lowndes County. The slope was repaired as part of emergency operations associated with flooding in southern Georgia.

The project consisted of the repair of a wing wall associated with a culvert, located at Mile Post (M.P.) 20.3 on SR 158 within the city of Douglas, in Coffee County. The culvert was repaired as part of emergency operations associated with flooding in southern Georgia.

The project consisted of the repair of a slope and pipe on SR 125 at Mile Post (M.P.) 12.5, in Tift County. Approximately 57 feet of 42 inch pipe was repaired as part of emergency operations associated with flooding in southern Georgia.

The proposed  project would consist of the reconstruction of the State Route (SR) 136 interchange over 1-75 and the widening and reconstruction of SR 136 from approximately 900 feet west of the interchange east along existing SR 136 to its intersection with US 41/SR 3, a total distance of0.9

There are no previously recorded archaeological sites which have been identified within 1 kilometer of the project area. There are no known previous archaeological surveys of the project area.
