In December of 2004, Southern Research conducted a cultural resources survey within an approximately 464 acre tract of land in Haralson County, Georgia (Figure 1).

On behalf of Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. and in compliance with the process for obtaining a United States Army Corps of Engineers Nationwide Permit, Terracon Consultants, Inc. conducted a Phase I intensive archaeological survey of approximately 105 acres in central Coweta County, Georgia.

This study Presents the results of archaeological and archival investigations of Blackbeard National Wildlife Refuge, McIntosh County, Georgia.

In April of 2010, New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of an approximately 58-acre project area in the McIntosh Reserve, Carroll County, Georgia (Figure 1).

Southern Research was contracted by Mr. John D. Harrison, Jr. of Greenwood, South Carolina, who plans to develop a tract of land adjacent to the J. Strom Thurmond Reservoir, a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) property.

Southern Research, Historic Preservation Consultants, Inc. conducted two archaeological data recovery excavations at the Leake site between 2004 and 2006.

During the week of June 7- 11, Southern Research conducted an intensive archaeological survey of the proposed Mitigation Bank Property Locations near Tilton in Whitfield County, Georgia under contract with the Dalton-Whitfield Regional Solid Waste Managment Authority (DWRSWMA).
