Existing structure is a 34’ x 14/6’ timber bridge structure; existing r/w=none. The existing bridge structure will be replaced with a Dble 10’x7’x36’ concrete bridge culvert on existing alignment. No right of way will be required.

It is proposed to widen the existing bridges 8’ on each side to a width of 40’. No additional right of way will be needed. These bridges remain open to traffic during construction.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project PR-36(001), Appling County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)

88’ x 20’ bridge with steel timber substructure and a concrete deck. 120’ x 38’ bridge estimated.

40’ x 13’ single span bridge with concrete abutments, steel beams, timber deck.

29.2 'X 78' bridge with timber pilings and a concrete deck. Approaches are approximately 680' in length and have 24' paving with 6' shoulders. Existing right-of-way is 60’. Replace bridge on existing alignment with a 44'X 120' concrete bridge.

120 feet x 23.8 feet of reinforced concrete deck, steel beams with wood caps and piles. Existing right of way is 100 feet. The project begins approximately 500 ft southwest of stream and ends approximately 500 ft northeast of stream. A four barrel 9 ft x 9 ft x 75 ft bridge culvert is required.

24’ x 60’ bridge- timber piles, concrete beams and deck on 60 r/w. Double 10’ x 10’ x 70’ concrete bridge culvert approaches will have 24’ pavement and 8’ shoulders on 80 r/w- detour provided by clayton County. Project begins 500 feet north and ends 500 ft south of creek.

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-213(11), in Murray County. The bridge is on County Road 73 and is over Rock Creek. The existing structure is 61 feet long by 12 feet wide with a pony truss and is a concrete bridge. The existing ROW is 40 feet.
